As I look for woodworking ideas and ways to improve my skills I would first check out videos because I like to watch as a project is created.
Woodworking websites serve another purpose as they are something I can refer too as I take my time learning a new skill or getting down information needed to complete a project.
Since there are millions of websites you could never have enough time to see all of them. I have noted 25 good woodworking websites that you should check out.
They are a collection of my favorite woodworking websites that I like to refer too and have a lot of great information. Which one do you like best?

#1. DCW WOODWORKS
Douglas Ward is the type of person I like to learn from because you can tell he has a passion for woodworking. He now teaches woodworking and has a shop in Chicago.
#2. Flair WOODWORKS
Chris Wong is the owner of this website. He creates amazing works of art that inspire and show a true talent for woodworking. You can follow him on twitter if you have an account.
This website is good for getting your feet wet in woodworking because Donald is good at displaying his projects that are good for beginners, but also some advanced work too.
Remember I said I like to watch videos of woodworking? That’s how I came to know Bob and his youtube channel. If you haven’t yet, check it out.
#5. Lost Art Press
They have a little of everything here. How to videos, clothes, books. The “lost art” of hand tools is what makes this website different and unique. And they have a lot of cool items you can order.
Scott is a dedicated wood worker that makes going to his website fun and interesting. He understands why we love working with wood.

This one was found from word of mouth and is good for beginners. Although if you just want to read information from another woodworker you will enjoy this website at any skill level.
Dave’s website is cool because it’s a teaching and entertainment site with videos that are uploaded consistently. If you like you can follow him on Youtube and he has a store on Etsy.

Shannon’s woodworking website is cool because he will answer your questions and since he has been blogging for years has a nice looking site.

Tom is a hand tool specialist in Canada. His woodworking website has a store, blog, and school all dedicated to those that love woodworking.

Tom will teach you what he knows and he’s been at it since 1998 so he knows a thing or two about woodworking.

If you are into woodworking then you have probably heard of this one. It’s very popular in the woodworking community and as you might already know you can follow on facebook and twitter.

A collection of woodworking plans that you can purchase on their site. This blog has been around a number of years so you search through plans some or even free.

If you’re looking for free woodworking plans you can find them here. One of the more established sites on this list. There are a lot of reasons to view this site, but it’s best to find out for yourself by visiting them.
